INVITATION FOR BID
This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the Right of Way Mowing and Grounds Maintenance for Saint Simons Island Services Contract.
Sealed bids will be accepted and time stamped at the Glynn County Finance Office, located in suite 300 of the Harold Pate Building until 1:30 PM on June 28th, 2023. At 1:55 the bids will be taken to conference room 224 located in the Harold Pate Building and will be opened and publicly read at 2:00 PM.
Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid-proposal are contained in this packet. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted for this invitation must include the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned in a sealed envelope or container marked, "SEALED BID" with the applicable "BID NUMBER" on the outside. Bids may not be considered unless so received.
There will be a pre-bid meeting for this project held on June 5th, 2023 at 11AM at the Glynn County Public Works Building located at 4145 Norwich Street Extension, Brunswick, GA 31520. Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted, in writing and forwarded, to the Procurement Officer, Resden Talbert at no later than June 9th, 2023. All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than June 16th, 2023. All questions are required to be submitted in written form. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. All contact concerning this solicitation shall be made through the Procurement Officer. Bidders shall not contact County employees, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation.
