1. I applied for a position but haven’t heard anything.

All applicants are notified by mail of application receipt after the recruitment closes. Normal processing time for letters is 2-3 weeks after the close of the recruitment.

2. I want to apply for a job, but the position is not open.

The County accepts applications for open positions only. You may complete an interest form on the website. You will be notified by email when a position you select comes open.

3. I’ve taken a written test, what happens next?

All candidates that pass the written examination are forwarded to the hiring department for final consideration. Applicants are contacted at the discretion of the hiring department.

4. Can I submit a resume?

To be considered for any County position, you must submit an original County application form. Relevant attachments, such as a resume, cover letter or transcripts/diplomas are acceptable attachments to a County application form.
