The Glynn County Board of Commissioners is seeking people interested in available positions on the following Boards and Committees:
Altamaha Regional Park Advisory Board*
Four (4) positions – Terms begin July 1, 2009 and end June 30, 2013
Animal Control Advisory Board*
Two (2) positions - Terms begin July 1, 2009 and end June 30, 2011
Blythe Island Advisory Board*
Four (4) positions – Terms begin July 1, 2009 and end June 30, 2013
Coastal Workforce Investment Board (CWIB)
One (1) position – Term begins July 1, 2009 and ends June 30, 2012
Glynn County Department of Family & Children Services (DFACS) Board
One (1) position – Term begins July 1, 2009 and ends June 30, 2014
Greenspace Committee*
Two (2) positions – Terms begin immediately and end June 30, 2011
One (1) position – Term begins immediately and ends June 30, 2013
Three (3) positions – Terms begin July 1, 2009 and end June 30, 2013
One (1) position – Term begins July 1, 2009 and ends June 30, 2011
Selden Park Advisory Board*
Four (4) positions – Terms begin July 1, 2009 and end June 30, 2013
Southeast Regional Mental Health, Disabling Diseases and Addictive
Diseases Board (MHDDAD)
One (1) position – Term begins July 1, 2009 and ends June 30, 2012
Tree Advisory Board*
Four (4) positions – Terms begin July 1, 2009 and end June 30, 2013
No remuneration is involved.
*Candidates must have lived in Glynn County for a minimum of two years, except for applicants of the Animal Control Advisory Board who must have lived in the county for the past 12 months.
