K-9 Unit

The mission of the Glynn County Police Department K-9 Unit is to provide highly trained officer teams who serve both the officers of the Glynn County Police Department, our residents and visitors. These highly-trained police animals can track lost people, fugitive criminals, and articles such as drugs and guns. These teams work on the patrol shifts and are available for all divisions of GCPD. The K-9 teams are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and operate throughout the county. The K-9 Teams are also available to provide mutual aid to law enforcement and public safety agencies across southeast Georgia.
