Mission Statement

To assist the Board of Commissioners in securing federal and state funding for projects that are consistent with Commission goals and the County Comprehensive Plan.

 The Grants Coordination Team assists the Board of Commissioners, the County Administrator and other County Departments with researching and obtaining federal and state grants to assist with County government operations. The Grants Coordination Team develops grant applications for funding of projects. If the grant application is successfully approved, the respective County Department takes responsibility of the project and proceeds with the project implementation.

The Grants Coordination Team researches grant opportunities in all areas.

Our objective is to provide the general public a confidential means to report concerns of wrong doing involving grants.
