Emergency Medical Services Division

The EMS Division is responsible for providing life saving pre-hospital care to those that are sick or injured. Glynn County Fire-Rescue strives to provide excellent patient care to all the citizens and visitors of Glynn County and the City of Brunswick. Glynn County Fire-Rescue is the only emergency 911 ambulance provider for the unincorporated portion of Glynn County and City of Brunswick. Mutual Aid service is also provided to Jekyll Island and the surrounding counties. 

Glynn County Fire-Rescue provides Advanced Life Support utilizing 7 Ambulances on a 24 hour a day basis. The EMS Division responds to an average of 972 EMS calls per month. The department limits response to 911 services and does not provide non-emergency transport services.

All EMS personnel are licensed and must meet recertification requirements as outlined by the Georgia Office of EMS & Trauma
