MISSION STATEMENT
Make the Glynn County Community Development Department the premier County service delivery department by delivering world class customer service by improving efficiency, productivity, and safety of our employees while providing timely, courteous, and professional service with integrity to all of our clients.

Community Development Department
   
The Community Development Department is responsible for managing the physical growth, development, and redevelopment of Glynn County, along with the coordination of infrastructure improvements to support development. The Department consists of six functional areas that work together in a cooperative effort to produce and protect the high quality of living that Glynn County residents expect. Additionally this department has grants writers who identify potential grants which will benefit the citizens directly or which will reduce the expenditure of local tax funds.

Integral into the fulfillment of the mission is the applied use of technology in an effective user friendly application. The Department has a technology system that enables 24-hour access by staff and the public to see project review comments and file enforcement requests.
